UVB-785 “Heat Resistance” UV Base Coat

Instruction

UVB-785 “Heat Resistance” UV Base Coat is made to Vacuum Metallization manufacturers for UV Curing Base Coat. It is a “High Heat Resistance” UV Curing coat. Excellent performance on heat resistance, adhesion, gloss. The lighting test can reach 180℃ in 8hrs or 200℃ in 4hrs. The higher temperature requires, the higher energy needs. Applicable to PBT, BMC. It can be used on parts of products such as reflector of light.

Application

UVB-785 “Heat Resistance” UV Base Coat can spray on materials directly then leveling evenly after IR. IR condition is 60-70℃ in 3-6 mins or baking before UV process. Suggest using encompass or straight type UV curing machine with UV energy 2500-3000mj/cm2 after baking.

Notices

1.      UVB-785 “Heat Resistance” UV Base Coat is a UV curing product which reacts with UV easily. It must be stored in a cool and dry indoor place without sunshine to keep its stable.

2.      Plastic materials usually contaminate with internal lubricant, mold release agent, and dust during injection process. To ensure good adhesion and smooth surface during Vacuum Metallization, please clean the materials with solvent before coating process.

3.      The procedure of Infrared radiation (IR) Temperature, Time, and UV energy must fulfill the requirements to ensure quality of coating products. UV energy will decrease by UV lamp aging and voltage supply. Please replace with new UV lamp and stable voltage to ensure coatings dry.

4.      Please keep good air circulation in working place to avoid harming health due to long-term breathing in solvent. If chemicals splash into eye or on skin accidently, immediately flush contacting area by huge amount of water then send to medical treatment.

5.      UVB-785 “Heat Resistance” UV Base Coat must be stored in cool and dry indoor room under 40℃. The expired time is one year in unopened situation.

6.      Please keep cap closing after opening and finish within one week to avoid affecting quality because of solvent evaporation.

7.      Above figures are based on our equipment and experience. Customers need to adjust the figures based on equipment, materials, and producing environment even machines if necessary.
