【Instruction】
UT-852 “High Film Thickness” Top Coat is two liquid PU type coat made to Vacuum Metallization manufacturers. It can be used as top coat after Vacuum Metallization or colored base coat. Or it can spray on ABS, PS, Metals directly as bright coating. Excellent performance on high film thickness, gloss, adhesion, yellowing resistance, fullness. Reach hardness level of 2 H pencil after drying up. It can be used on parts of products such as accessories, cosmetics, perfume caps, communication tools, electrical devices, plated products.
【Application】
UT-852 “High Film Thickness” Top Coat needs to mix with H-800 Hardness, mix ratio (weight ratio) is 100：8, and stir evenly (it can add into dyestuffs directly if need color). Or dilute with T-280 based on spraying viscosity and quality of materials. The spraying pressure should be 3.0-3.5kg/cm2 and the distance should be 15-20 cm. If possible, like the working place is less dust, we suggest leave the coating materials under room temperature over 10 minutes after spraying. When leveling evenly, put the materials into oven and it would have better appearance after baking.
Based on thickness and materials, the baking condition should be 60-70℃ and 50-60 minutes. To ensure completely dry up the coating, please be careful about the thickness and keep oven temperature evenly. Keep good air circulation of oven and exhale the dirty air made by solvents when baking.
【Base Coat】
Please use UB-269 Series, UB-563, UP-916, UB-256B.
【Notices】
1. UT-852 “High Film Thickness” Top Coat is Two Components PU Top Coat. Please finish it in 4 hours under room temperature after mixing to avoid gelatinization.
2. Plastic materials usually contaminate with internal lubricant, mold release agent, and dust during injection process. To ensure good adhesion and smooth surface during Vacuum Metallization, please clean the materials with solvent before coating process.
3. Due to the special ingredient, please use water cleaning type spraying equipment. Excessive paint and dust accumulation may cause spontaneous combustion. Please clean up frequently. These accumulations have to store with water to prevent spontaneous combustion.
4. UT-852 “High Film Thickness” Top Coat must be stored in cool and dry indoor room under 40℃. The expired time is one year in unopened situation.
5. Please keep cap closing after opening and finish within one week to avoid affecting quality because of solvent evaporation.
6. Because there may be solvent left after baking, please leave the coating materials 24 hours or baking condition 60-70°C and 60 minutes and leave 4 hours before packaging to avoid plastic bag mark on products’ surface.
