UT-817 “Matting Effect” Top Coat is made to Vacuum Metallization manufacturers. Excellent performance on gloss, matting effect. It can be used on parts of products such as speakers, presents, cosmetics, clocks, furniture, toy, perfume caps decoration, plated products.
【Application】
Due to matting paste and matting powder of UT-817 “Matting Effect” Top Coat are easy to precipitation, please stirring evenly before spraying process. We suggest to keep stirring UT–817 by using air power mixer while spraying or stirring every 15 minutes during spraying process to prevent precipitation effecting quality of product. Add or less matting pastes or powders according to different matting level. The spraying pressure should be 3.0-3.5kg/cm2 and the distance should be 15-20 cm. Spraying on materials then place under room temperature over 10 minutes. After leveling evenly, put into oven.
UT-817 “Matting Effect” Top Coat is air dry top coat. Its drying is slow in the earlier period but fast in the later period. If need to launch mass production and scratch resistance, the baking condition should be 50-60℃ and 10-15 minutes.
【Base Coat】
Please use UB-269 Series, UB-563, UP-916, UB-256B, or use UB-921to improve matting and scratch resistance effects.

2. Due to special ingredients of this product, too much lacquer dusts accumulated may cause burning. They must be applied with water-based coating equipment and clean the sprayer and relevant devices with water frequently. Store the lacquer dusts in outdoor within water in case the burning
3. Please keep good air circulation in working place to avoid harming health due to long-term breathing in solvent. If chemicals splash into eye or on skin accidently, immediately flush contacting area by huge amount of water then send to medical treatment.
4. UT-817 “Matting Effect” Top Coat must be stored in cool and dry indoor room under 40℃. The expired time is one year in unopened situation.
5. Please keep cap closing after opening and finish within one week to avoid affecting quality because of solvent evaporation.
