【Instruction】
UP-90 P.P Processing Primer is made to improve adhesion on P.P materials for Vacuum Metallization. Spraying/dipping UP-90 P.P Processing Primer on P.P materials, then applying our UB-563 or UB-269. Excellence performance adhesion on P.P materials. Apply on P.P materials ONLY.
【Application】
UP-90 P.P Processing Primer can spray or dip directly. It can be mixed with Toluene or Xylene to reduce viscosity based on the quality of P.P materials if necessary. The spraying pressure should be 3.0kg/cm² and the distance should be 15-20 cm. After applying UP-90 P.P Processing Primer, spray or dip UB-563 or UB-269. Or Add UP-90 P.P Processing Primer into UB-563 or UB-269 for spraying or dipping directly.
Keep spraying until surface is wet, thickness is not required. Spraying and leveling evenly under room temperature around 10 mins, then spraying base coats after surface drying. Place under room temperature in 5-10 mins for air dry.
【Base Coat】
Please use UB-563, UB-269 series after applying premier. Or use UP-916 P.P base coat to get better adhesion on P.P materials.
【Notices】
1. Plastic materials usually contaminate with internal lubricant, mold release agent, and dust during injection process. To ensure good adhesion and smooth surface during Vacuum Metallization, please clean the material with solvent before coating process.
2. Because of many manufacturers and qualities of P.P materials, please test P.P materials until meeting your customer’s requirements before producing.
3. Due to the special ingredient of above products, please use water cleaning type spraying equipment. Excessive paint and dust accumulation may cause spontaneous combustion. Please clean up frequently. These accumulations have to store with water to prevent spontaneous combustion.
4. Please keep good air circulation in working place to avoid harming health due to long-term breathing in solvent. If chemicals splash into eye or on skin accidently, immediately flush contacting area by huge amount of water then send to medical treatment.
5. UP-90 P.P Processing Primer must be stored in cool and dry indoor room under 40℃. The expired time is one year in unopened situation.
6. Please keep cap closing after opening and finish within one week to avoid affecting quality because of solvent evaporation.
