【Instruction】
UB-966A Base Coat is made to Vacuum Metallization manufacturers for recycled P.P materials or diluted with UP-90 for dipping P.P materials. Excellent performance on bending resistance, adhesion, gloss, workability. It can be used on parts of products such as cosmetics, toys, clocks, furniture, daily goods, presents and reflectors.
【Application】
We suggest diluting with Toluene based on needs and quality of materials. The dilution ratio is 1：2 (Volume Ratio) as dipping base coat and 1：1 (Volume Ratio) as spraying base coat. The spraying pressure should be 3.0-3.5kg/cm2 and the distance should be 15-20 cm. If possible, like the working place is less dust, we suggest leave the coating materials under room temperature over 10 minutes after spraying. When leveling evenly, put the materials into oven, it would have better appearance after baking.
Based on thickness and materials, the baking condition should be 60-70℃ and 120-150 minutes. To ensure completely dry up the coating, please be careful about the thickness and keep oven temperature evenly. Keep good air circulation of oven and exhale the dirty air made by solvents when baking.
【Top Coat】
Please use with UT-117, UT-846-2 or our other top coats add into oil dyestuffs for spraying. Use UB-563 diluting with T-407 Thinner, the dilution ratio is 1:3 (Volume Ratio), as top coat for dipping will have good dip-dye effect.
【Notices】
1. Plastic materials usually contaminate with internal lubricant, mold release agent, and dust during injection process. To ensure good adhesion and smooth surface during Vacuum Metallization, please clean the material with solvent before coating process.
2. Due to the special ingredient, please use water cleaning type spraying equipment. Excessive paint and dust accumulation may cause spontaneous combustion. Please clean up frequently. These accumulations have to store with water to prevent spontaneous combustion.
3. Please keep good air circulation in working place to avoid harming health due to long-term breathing in solvent. If chemicals splash into eye or on skin accidently, immediately flush contacting area by huge amount of water then send to medical treatment.
4. UB-966A must be stored in cool and dry indoor room under 40℃. The expired time is one year in unopened situation.
5. Please keep cap closing after opening and finish within one week to avoid affecting quality because of solvent evaporation.
